Founded by Gassama, its name merges "Gassama", a surname rooted in the lands of the Mali Empire, and "Lion", a symbol of power and royalty.

Gamalion brings together a family of enthusiasts, creators, perfumers, and artisans, all driven by the same demanding standard: to translate symbols, rituals, and exceptional raw materials into highly precise olfactory compositions.

As part of his collaboration with Maison Gamalion, he gives new expression to emblematic materials. With Tombouctou and Bissap Niogomera, he incorporates thiouraye and hibiscus into a contemporary olfactory construction, revealing their richness and depth.
